Mandates, Unmasked, Carnivore, Long-Haul, Government Science, Premature Births, and Much, Much More

Issue 153

Good afternoon Nikkola Newsletterers!

On May 10, 2020, I wrote a blog post titled, What if we’ve all been primed? It was the only time I’ve had something go truly viral, as it was shared more than 1.1 million times on social media.

I had typed out my thoughts after I’d heard one media station after another repeating the same slogans: “We’re all in this together. Stay home. Stay safe. We’ll get through this. It’s our new normal.” Ultimately, it was clear that the virus was nowhere near as deadly as we’d been told it would be. The government-ordained treatments and preventative “medications” caused far more damage than the narrative drivers will ever admit.

As we enter the fall and the final year before another U.S. presidential election, it appears we’re headed for the sequel.

Take these headlines, for example:

  • It may be time to break out the mask against Covid, some experts say (CNN)

  • Lionsgate tells employees to wear masks amid new Covid variant (The Independent)

  • Mask mandates reemerge amid upturn in COVID-19 cases (The Hill)

  • Lockdowns and face masks really did help to control covid-19 (New Scientist)

  • Local hospital reinstates mask mandate amid COVID spike. What to know about COVID now (The Press Democrat)

  • New COVID boosters are still weeks away as cases surge (Axios)

  • Most should wait for updated COVID booster shot to maximize protection: Experts (ABC News)

  • COVID booster shots and the next pandemic wave (Toronto Star)

These were some of the headlines from the past 48 hours. See a trend? Fear. Uncertainty. Expectations that people will be covering their faces and lining up for more shots, even though they’ve caused very serious side effects in many (I personally know three people who developed serious myocarditis from the vaccine).

Here’s what I expect: The pressure will be greater this second time around. The penalties could be more severe. The long-term health consequences of compliance could be worse than before.

I made these available a few years ago when I wrote What if we’ve all been primed? and a follow-up a few months later, titled Unmasked. Unmuzzled. Unvaccinated. Unafraid. I decided to make them available again. Perhaps wearing something like this, it’ll give someone else the confidence they need to not blindly follow the “advice” of their public health “experts” and to think for themselves based on real science.

The gear is back, just in time for a new round of mandates and mainstream media propaganda.

Enjoy today’s carefully curated newsletter!

The Effects of Essential Oils on Long-Haul COVID-19: COVID-19 doesn’t make headlines like it did six months ago. Most people are mentally and physically past infections, as well as the media’s constant barrage of fear porn. Though the infections may be more rare today, many people continue to deal with long-lasting effects, a condition called long-haul COVID-19. When this was first discovered, many believed it to be a rare condition. However, some studies now suggest that up to 73% of people who had COVID-19 develop long-term symptoms. Among the symptoms, fatigue ranks at the top. Keep reading…

Don’t make excuses. There's no good reason to wait to get started with options for working out at home or the gym.

  1. FIT@HOME: For men and women who need to exercise but must do so at home using only their bodyweight and bands. This 12-month periodized program is the best you’ll find when using minimal equipment is the only option.

  2. Resilient: This program is ideal for women as it includes more emphasis on conditioning and cardio and slightly less strength work.

  3. Vigorous: Designed more for men (but not exclusively for men) as it’s heavy on strength and muscular development, which indirectly helps most guys get leaner, too.

Don’t wait for a medical emergency to be your wake-up call. Get started now.

🩺 Health

The government says, “Trust the science,” which is funded by the government. The international science journal Science, funded by the federal government to the tune of $3.3 million annually between 2008 and 2017, has acknowledged that thousands of its published papers might contain misleading language. A study by Scientometrics found that from 1997 to 2021, the use of "hedging" words, which are used to avoid sounding overconfident, fell by about 40%. Some experts, such as Nanjing University linguist Ying Wei, see this trend as concerning, as it may indicate a rise in unreliable or exaggerated claims. A similar pattern was found in a research journal published by the British Medical Association in 2015. Despite these findings, the executive editor of "Science" denies that the decline in hedging has led to less reliable evidence, attributing it to authors being asked for additional supporting information. Reducing cautious language may reflect a strategy to make results appear more appealing to editors and readers.

Meh, what’s the big deal if they cause premature births? The FDA's recent approval of Pfizer's Abrysvo vaccine for pregnant women to protect against RSV has stirred controversy due to a 20% higher rate of premature births found in vaccinated mothers during clinical trials. The vaccine's benefits appear minimal since RSV typically causes only mild symptoms and the vaccine's long-term safety data are nonexistent. Some experts on the FDA's advisory committee even voiced strong concerns over these risks, with notable skepticism about the adequacy of the safety data. The move represents an unprecedented approach to maternal vaccination, leaving lingering questions about the vaccine's necessity and potential harm to both mothers and infants.

This one’s for the girls…ladies…women...those born with XX chromosomes. A new study of feminine hygiene products should make you think twice about the brands you buy. Researchers have discovered potentially dangerous chemicals in some feminine hygiene products. These chemicals, called PFAS, are known as “forever chemicals" because they don’t break down easily. While many products were free of PFAS, others contained them on purpose or by accident. PFAS is a category of over 12,000 compounds known for their stick-, stain-, and water-resistant properties, but they are persistent and bioaccumulative and have been linked to negative health outcomes, including certain cancers. These chemicals were found not only in the products themselves but also in the wrappers, sometimes in high concentrations.

Dying suddenly, shortly after vaccination. A review of 28 autopsy case reports found that 100% of the deaths involving myocarditis were causally linked to COVID-19 vaccination. On average, death occurred just 3 days after the last vaccine dose, indicating the vaccines can cause rapid and fatal heart damage. The findings confirm suspicions that vaccine-induced myocarditis kills young, healthy people who die suddenly after vaccination. The extremely high causality rate suggests the COVID vaccines may be the biggest medical mistake in history, outweighing any potential benefits.

💊 Supplementation

Melatonin enhances memory. A new animal study found melatonin and its derivatives enhanced long-term object recognition memory. They showed that melatonin promotes long-term memory formation by modulating phosphorylation of memory-related proteins through receptor and non-receptor pathways. The study adds to evidence that melatonin could help improve memory impairments, supporting the development of new memory-enhancing drugs. This could be game-changing for older adults, as melatonin levels plummet in old age, making supplementation more essential.

🥩 Nutrition

A recent study published in Clinical Nutrition found that the ketogenic diet (KD) alleviated symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS). Conducted at the University of Virginia, this six-month KD trial, followed by a three-month observation, found that nearly half of the participants experienced benefits like reduced numbness, better balance, and fewer headaches. Even after the trial, 21% continued a strict KD, and 37% adopted a less restrictive version. Most notably, almost a quarter of the participants could reduce or discontinue medications used for symptomatic treatment.

American drinking habits are changing, and the generational divide is growing wider. New Gallup polling reveals that young adults today are far less likely to imbibe than prior generations. Those 18-34 have steadily turned away from alcohol over the past 20 years - drinking less often, less regularly, and less to excess. Meanwhile, older Americans are bellying up to the bar more than before. As views on health and shifting social attitudes steer younger generations away from booze, the era of the hard-partying twentysomething may be coming to a sobering end.
